SRUCSA is run for student by students. Each year, the students of SRUC elect three students to take on leadership roles of SRUCSA. These students are elected by the student body in free and fair elections, and it is their job to champion the student voice, represent the views of students to SRUC and to oversee a range of SRUCSA activities such as the rep system, campaigns, clubs and societies.
At SRUCSA we have three leaders who share responsibility for setting the work of SRUCSA. Each of these Co-Presidents represents a geographical area and the campuses within it. These are;
From the 2025/26 academic year, we are changing our officer structure. Instead of officers split by campus, we have split the work of SRUCSA into three separate but overlapping areas.
We hope these new roles will make it clearer for students taking up the roles, what the job entails and will make it clearer to students who to contact about an issue, or part of SRUCSAs work.
